We are pleased to announce that in response to increasing demand from asset management firms, we will be launching our buy side research analyst training program in mid-October 2018.
Whilst the program continues to gain traction on the sell side, we have received unsolicited demand from the buy side to train their research analysts. This coincided with signs of accelerating junior analyst recruitment on the buy side and an increased focus on their training.
The objective of our training is to provide a strong baseline of skills and knowledge to research analysts starting their careers on the buy side. By providing the necessary technical foundations, we aim to increase their productivity and efficiency.
The program will include training classes on fundamental technical skills such as financial analysis, modelling and valuation, how to build an investment thesis and how to write internal research reports. The program also includes softer skills such as how to interact and build relationships with companies and the sell side and how to communicate effectively with and present to portfolio managers.
Each module is delivered over either a half-day or a full-day and often takes place at the clients’ offices.
Class sizes may vary from 2 to 15 analysts.
